The Secrets of Q Central

Since publication of this book, further research has provided more information, particularly about some of the casualties. This information will be posted here as we are able to prepare it.

1942 Monday May 11: Frederick Cornish, a civilian, died at The Parade, Watford. He was born in Leighton Buzzard, probably in George Street where his parents were living in 1891 and 1901. By 1911, the family had moved to 6, Wing Road Terrace and Frederick, aged 23 and unmarried, was a butcher's assistant. Husband of Edith E (neé); son of Herbert Stockbridge and Ellen Eliza (neé Roadnight) Cornish of 51 Soulbury Road.
